January, 2008 Newletter

Chinese New Year, February 4, 2008 the Year of the Rat Arrives.

A time to say goodbye to things that no longer serve us and welcome in a new,

prosperous year.

Clean the entire home ridding it of all ill-fortune associated with the past year.

Put away all brooms and brushes in fact purchase a new broom and trash the old one.

Pay all debts

Resolve differences

Decorate with the intent to bring in the New Year and Good Luck

Display oranges and tangerines to symbolize abundance and good luck

The events that occur on New Years may have an impact on the rest of the year so be careful with your words, deeds, and what you eat, and whom you greet.

Wear new clothing, wear red for joy and happiness.

Give red envelopes with lucky money to children and unmarried people.

On February 4th the year of the rat arrives it is the year of conflict between earth and water, so we will see plenty of water related disasters. Earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, flood and tsunamis. The housing market may get even worse, but I am looking at this as a golden opportunity for home buyers, the market is open to those who may not ever been able to purchase there own home and even rents may be come more affordable. I live in Somerset County  New Jersey, and the market has placed itself out of reach for most people in fact only those with the big incomes can live here, so now the market is more approachable to person who do not make 6 digit incomes. So there is a blessing to all of this.

2008 will bring new political leadership with younger leaders, world religions may even start to work together instead of looking at who can be the better religion.

The cures for the year are: wear rose quartz and place it all around your home and in your office. Use hematite to absorb negative areas but remember hematite must be washed in cold water frequently. Place citrine in the SW, tiger’s eye in the NW, and yellow jasper in the NE .

Place salt water cures in the north and south and the center of your home and office if possible, replace every 3 months.

  • Rat a great year overall but will need to focus on health issues.

  • Ox is in for a great year. Very good Career and business opportunities.

  • Tiger will be a mixed bag of tricks, learn new skills and a career change may be on the horizon.

  • Rabbit one of the best years ever, opportunities and success await you.

  • Dragon be aware of accidents but in general a good year.

  • Snake a great year with a few ups and downs.

  • Horse take extra care be prepared is your motto. Change!!

  • Goat/Sheep will have ups and down this year of change.

  • Monkey will have a mixed bag of tricks, potential problems keep your eyes and ears open all times.

  • Rooster has a busy year ahead; with wonderful achievements and accomplishments you will see much success.

A more nuanced translation might be, “Best wishes and congratulations. Have a prosperous and good year.”

 Namaste,

Don't Forget to clear the rooms at all times with sage incense and place Salt Water Cures in these locations.  Scroll down for How to Make Salt Water Cure

The West: Be aware of do not renovate, redecorate, keep noise to a min. once disturbed it could bring financial loss, sickness, and arguments.

Again use a salt water cure and 4 pieces of Sodalite crystal in this location.

The Northwest never sit facing this location. Salt water cures and windchimes are the cures for this sector.

The Northeast do not break ground , can result in major law suits and loss of wealth, Be Careful ! Wind chimes and saltwater cures.

Salt Water Cure

How to set up your salt water cure.

Fill up a glass jar about three quarters to the top with Salt.  Kosher or rock salts work the best.

1)      Fill the jar up to the top with water.  It is a good idea to place a mat or a piece of paper under the jar to protect your furniture or flooring.

2)      Place six coins on the top of the salt.  Make sure the coins are Yang side up; this is the side with the four Chinese characters.

Make sure that the coins stay to the top of the salt. And that they can all be seen.

3)      Place the cure in the south-east and the north.

4)      The jar will form crystals over time; this shows that it is working and absorbing the negative energy.

5)      Keep the jar topped up with water.

Make sure that you put your cure in an area where it will not be disturbed, as it stores a lot of negative energy, replacing the cure about every 3 months. Thus ensuring a positive flow of energy, and not allow for negative energy to be stored up in any one area.

How to dispose of your old salt water cure.

Make sure that you throw out the ENTIRE cure, jar, coins and all.  You don’t want to reuse any of these items again, as they have an enormous amount of negative energy stored up inside them.

1)      The best way to dispose of the cure is to put it into a cheap plastic container, (water included) and throw everything right into the trash OUTSIDE your home.  It is best if you coordinate the changing of your cure with your trash pick up day.

2)      If you do not have a container to put it in, then you could always use several plastic bags.  But remember that the cure also contains water, so please be mindful not to spill any.

** NOTE **  If your jar has a lid on it, make sure that it is kept off UNTIL you are ready to dispose of it *

I’ve learned one thing in life that your mind can create what ever you want so if you believe you will have a bad year you will if you believe you will have a great year you will. So you can with belief  in yourself and a vision you can make the year what you want it to be. Have a great year. SUZEN
