This comes directly from my heart and my soul. I was so sick of being afraid. Afraid to drive; afraid to speak up for myself; afraid to feel; afraid to live; afraid of being afraid. Fear was the only thing that fueled me. I felt unloved and unlovable. I also had very limiting and painful health issues.

I had been in therapy for years. I was in a long term marriage that was strangling the life out of me yet I was completely dependent upon my husband. I was absolutely desperate to change yet I was frozen in fear. Then I found SuZen. She and I worked together for about six months. It was quite different than anything I had ever experienced. She could be really tough yet provided an environment that felt incredibly positive and safe.

On more than one occasion I left thinking I am not going back. Usually it was those times that I would have a breakthrough or as SuZen refers to it an "Ah Hah moment". I couldn't even begin to describe what we did in that room but it was always something different and bit by bit I dropped layer after layer of fear through her techniques and processes.

Today I am living on my own in my own home - I am driving more than I have ever driven in my life - (to the shore almost every weekend) I am happy and healthy both emotionally and physically. Some notes on Courage:
 Cami (my ex sister-in-law)
She was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer in 2005 and had learned that both of her breast had to be removed.  Upon learning this information she asked if she was going to live or die and the doctor told her she was going to live.  Cami agreed that she would do what ever she had to do.  I asked how she felt about the news.  She told me that was only one obstacle and was never going to let it get in her way of living her life.  It was just one speed bump along life's highway.  I want to share with you all that when Cami learned of the condition, her mother's Alzheimer's was getting worse.  Also Dad at age 92 was hanging Christmas tree lights and fell hitting his head.  The doctor's thought that may be the end of his life, but like the Energizer Bunny he just keeps on going and going.  He is now celebrating 96 years of life.  I offered Cami my help with homeopathy medicine to reduce the effects of Chemo.  She took relaxation CD's specially created to listen to while receiving the Chemo treatments.   After her surgery Cami received Reiki/Somato Release therapy and could not believe how much mobility she had after I worked on her.  Today life is going great for Cami who is 100% a okay and is going stronger then ever.  Oh yeah her Mom is still alive as well doesn't know who is who but is 96 now. Cami over sees both parents and a huge family as well but loves it all. 
 
Suzanne (Feng Shui client)
Her family has been taught Reiki.  I am in some way connected to Suzanne's family for they are always in my dreams especially when something good or bad is about to happen.  I had a dream one night about water leaking in their home, so I called Suzanne and asked what was happening in the home.  At first I did not put two and two together that water in a dream meant emotions are being stirred up.  Well, needless to say in a few weeks Suzanne had found out she had Lymphatic Cancer.  From the start she used homeopathy medicine.  I also worked on Suzanne with Reiki and Cranial Sacral every week. I'd like to add, no I must add there was a point in her recovery she had a doctor who did not like alternative healthcare. One day she was going for Chemo in at a hospital in the Denville area and found a doctor who was open to complementary healthcare and also endorsed massage.  This was great, as she wanted to do that as part of her recovery process.  Suzanne feels having cancer was a blessing; it opened her eyes and taught her to stand up for herself and live her live fully.  She has gotten so many blessings and gifts from the universe and is still receiving them as she continues to liver her life feeling blessed for each moment she has. 
 
Diane (client)
Back in October of 2008 I picked up the phone to hear a lady crying saying her name is Diane and a teacher friend of hers had told her to call us. Diane had just been told she had lung cancer, which is in the liver. She now comes weekly and has had private sessions with Sheryl Blumenthal as well.  Diane is now on drugs that cost $5000.00 per month and on homeopathy medicine to assist with all side affects.  Her visits here consist of Reiki sessions, Journey work and turning fork therapy that helps with the neuropathy.  When Diane was in Chemo she used our CD's and has learned EFT to help with the stress.  She still comes weekly and continues to make great progress in her healing journey. One thing Diane is learning is how to live today and not worry about tomorrow, I applaud her.

Mary (client)
Mary has Restless legs syndrome (RLS), a neurological disorder characterized by unpleasant sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable urge to move when at rest in an effort to relieve these feelings. RLS sensations are often described by people as burning, creeping, tugging, or like insects crawling inside the legs. Often called paresthesias (abnormal sensations) or dysesthesias (unpleasant abnormal sensations), the sensations range in severity from uncomfortable to irritating to painful. She has had 3 turning fork sessions with one of our practitioners, Carol.  Since those sessions her symptoms seem to be less intense and even some have disappeared.  She stops in every month now for a session and is still maintaining the same effects.
 
Sona (client)
After going to a chiropractor with hip pains Sona was not satisfied and decided to come to the center for help.  She since has had 2 Reiki sessions and one turning folk session.   The pain in her hips was, by the way also causing migraines. She now has no pain and no migraines.
 
Daniel (client)
Daniel (16 years old) came in with an attention-deficit disorder (ADD), which is a developmental disorder characterized by developmentally inappropriate degrees of inattention, over activity, and impulsivity, which is something I know about because my brain has to deal every day with it. Daniel receives Reiki and Cranial Sacral sessions daily and is on homeopathy instead of drugs. His teachers cannot believe how adjusted he has become.  He actually sits still for longer periods.  As for myself having Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reiki, and the herbs I take have tremendously affected my life in a positive way. 
 
Female (client)
When I first started Reiki in 1992 a women was coming to me every week for sessions.  She had found out that she had cyst in her breast.  She was scheduled to have the cyst removed.  I was working on her and I saw smoke pouring out of her breast.  I laughed and said, "your breast are on fire," She also laughed and the next day she went to the hospital and had x-rays taken.  All that was there before was then gone. Women usually get cysts from drinking too much coffee and or smoking.

 
Mark (client)
Mark came to the office last year suffering from depression and periods of rage.  He also had diabetes.   Six months after coming to the Center he was off his depression meds and had learned where his rage was coming from and therefore we were able to change the button that would set off the rage.  He also had learned EFT to handle stress. He would share how while driving he'd find himself getting so upset he'd be yelling at everybody in the car.  After learning EFT he would tap before leaving the home and at times found himself pulling off the road to tap and then he would continue on his journey safely.  For his diabetes he had detox footbaths and homeopathy medicine.  He also used traditional meds as well.
 
Myra (Center Instructor)
Myra has a history of asthma, one day she was rushed to the hospital after her brother found her on the floor.  I received the call at 4am and went right to the emergency room. When I arrived first thing I did was place my hands on her feet. This jumped her immune system.  I stood there as one of the nurses asked what I was doing.  I explained the healing I was doing and the nurse said she believed in what I was doing.  I had made several calls to other students to send energy to her and a call to someone who practiced SRT (Spiritual Response Therapy) who worked on Myra's family via energy work (note: all of Myra's family were on the other side except one brother) and by 2 that afternoon her lungs were up to full breathing capacity.  Her doctor said when Myra arrived her breathing capacity was only 5% in the lungs; meanwhile he had never seen a patient recover so quickly.
 
Jill (client)
Jill wanted to have a baby so bad she had tried invetro two times with no luck.  She had come to me seeking alternative means to getting pregnant.  I recommended that she see an acupuncturist and use a homoeopathist to treat the physical and emotional components of conceiving.  I also told her to learn Q-Gong, which also is excellent for pregnancy, while I would find her a Maya Abdominal Massage Therapist.  That type of massage deals with all women's issues and is quite a successful technique in helping women with pregnancy issues.  Jill has a baby girl who was conceived the natural way and healthy.  The baby is now 3+ years old.  I see Jill's family all for their complementary/alternative health needs still today.
